As you can imagine, we were heartbroken to have to cancel the remainder of our Performing Arts performances for the school year. Among the performances cancelled where our High School Plays and Musical which included our Beg/Int Acting production of “Nothing But the Truth”, our Advanced Acting production of “Peter & the Starcatcher”, and our Musical Theatre production of “Wild Party.” At NSAA we believe that “the show must go on”, so in light of our recent school closure, we have decided to move forward with these three theatrical productions in a remote capacity! Directors and students have been working over the past few weeks to convert their hard work into fully remotely produced recordings of these shows to be shared with friends and family in May!
Here’s a sneak peek at the work they’ve been doing:
1st Video- The cast of Peter & the Starcatcher in “rehearsal” for their virtual Performance!
2nd Video- A snippet of the cast of Nothing But the Truth, which has been fully converted in to a podcast style recording to be released in three episodes!
3rd Video- The cast of Wild Party learn their vocal lines in music rehearsal with Music Director, Mr. Ventre. This cast will be remotely recording their performances to be edited together in a final ensemble production!
Stay tuned for more info about these productions!
